How does a Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treatment work?

The MicroPen® EVO uses a sterile fluid resistant cartridge to provide a smooth and gliding treatment. In a single motion the pen is pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in across the treatment area in one direction. While some areas of the skin are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating pen helps with a comfortable treatment. Each Micro-needling procedure takes between 15 to 30 minutes. Any discomfort is temporary and only felt during the treatment process.

Healing time from an Eclipse MicroPen® EVO procedure varies based on the number of overlapping passes across the treatment area. Most clients report slight redness like that of a sunburn around the treatment area following the procedure. Clients can expect to experience redness for two to four days. Some clients may heal completely within 24 hours.
Clients can see a “glow” to their skin following the procedure, and visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks and will continue to improve up to six months after the treatment. Some clients only require a single visit once a year to achieve noticeable results, however, we recommend that clients receive a series of two to three procedures spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart for optimal results.

MicroPen® EVO operates at 7000 RPM, which maximizes the micro wounding and therefore exponentially increases the cascading healing response.
